JUST ME
Well, what is there to say about my life. I will start by saying I am a senior at Lassiter. I live with my parents and I have one brother who is 25. He has moved out to live with his friends. Currently in our household we have two parakeets and one dog, a miniature schnauzer.
During my early childhood I was very active. I participated in cheerleading and gymnastics. I was in gymnastics off and for seven years. I cheered through my seventh grade year. My eighth grade year I continued my gymnastics. Then the summer after my eighth grade year my childhood activities with left behind and I moved on to bigger and better things.
To get a true perception of who I really am then you will look at my life during high school. My years at Lassiter have defined who I really am. My participation in school activities and interactions with my friends has really made me who I am.
I will begin with my freshman year. I am just beginning to figure out who I am. I get involved with the Lassiter Band Program. I joined the colorguard. Colorguard became a major part of my life. It helped to define who I am. I became very engrossed with the colorguard. Through my interactions with the guard I met some of my friends. Some of the friends I made will last a lifetime. Those same friends also walked me through some of the most difficult times of my life. This is when Scott came into my life. At the time I did not realize how much of a friend he would really be. The friendship grew over time. One of the most important friends in my life was, Christi a person I met in my freshman lit. class. Little did I know that she was going to know my life as well as I would. Through Christi and Scott I met Nicole. Those three people would help shape my life.
My sophomore year got interesting to say the least. This is when things went crazy. During band camp the summer before my sophomore I met Billy. We started going out. During the course of the year a circle of friends started to form. The circle of friends also know as the group won't take full swing until my junior year due to some serious incidents. One of those incidents being when Billy and I broke up after a couple of weeks. I made some choices I still don't quite understand. But we won't go there. So my sophomore year was a disaster in the love department.
My junior year was just a little stressful. Okay not a little stressful more like the sinking of the titanic. One important factor was that the band was going to Grand National Championships that year. So the stress from band was unbelievable. On top of that I was in the midst of my hardest year in school. This year the group really started to take effect. We started going out during the remainder of our free time. The group consisted of Nicole, Scott, Christi, Billy, and me. Nicole and Scott were there off and on. The people I relied on heavily were Christi and Billy. When I stressed there were nice long conversations on the phone with Christi and Billy. One of the most stressful events in my life was when I started dating Brad. Let's just say it wasn't one of my wisest decisions. This relationship divided the group. After things had just cleared up between Billy and I things went down the drain. Brad was a lot of what I wasn't to say the least. I learned a lot from the relationship. It helped me define what I am really about. It definitely wasn't him. With my friends support I made a tough decision and dumped Brad. I knew it would work out better in the long run. So at last I am again single. Christi started going out Charlie about a month after I started dating Brad. He now became the newest member of the group. Another person was added to the group. He was one of Charlie's Friends. His name is Jeremy. I slowly make my way back into to the group just in time for the next big explosion. I mean big. Nicole decides to play match maker a lot this year. She tried to get Billy and I to go out before the situation with Brad. Her attempts were unsuccessful. So then at the end of the year Nicole was still determined to set Billy up with a girl. She tried to set him up with Julie. This caused great controversy in the group. I came back in time for this wonderful event. The problem was that feelings between Billy and I still existed. So I helped Christi get rid of Julie. I was watching out for his best interest. This marks the end of my junior year.
Well the summer before my senior year definitely heated up. The group started to hang out more. Billy and I became closer. The inevitable happened. We started going out again. Members of the group watched the inevitable demise of one relationship and the unexpected beginning of another relationship within the group. This event tore the group into two halves. It tore the group in two because it caused the whole group not to be able to hang out together. After Scott and Nicole broke up she later started going out with Jeremy. So it was obvious that we could not hang out with Scott and Nicole at the same time. This takes up to my senior year.
My senior year has been a blast so far. Finally something is going the way it's supposed to. The three couples are still together. We haven't quite worked everything out, but it's definitely on it's way. The three girls are okay it's just the guys that haven't ironed out all of the kinks. Right now I give best wishes to the group as we come upon the next event when we shall all meet again. Late October is the Homecoming dance when the whole group will run into each other. So as for now I will bring my life to a close.
